About

I'm an MS CS student in the Data Driven Design Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I am currently finishing my thesis, but have completed all other graduation requirements. I also studied CS at UIUC as an undergraduate. My primary fields of focus are Human-Computer Interaction and UI/UX.

My research and professional experiences have prepared me well to make progress on ambiguous problems, communicate my progress, and quickly learn new skills and technologies. Research has taught me that it is easy to be distracted over-engineering solutions instead of focusing on one's real goal: advancing the research contributions. I look forward to joining a team where I can contribute a similar focus on solving real user problems.

Outside of Computer Science, my interests entail cycling, running, hiking, and cooking healthy meals. While at UIUC, I held leadership positions in both the Illini Swim Club and the Illini Cycling Club.
